This proposal outlines the essential tasks involved in the ground-up construction of a gymnasium addition. The project encompasses the installation of a new 120/208 400 amp service, a fire alarm system, security access control system, data cabling, and an intercom system for HP Electronics. The objective is to provide a safe, efficient, and technologically advanced environment for the gymnasium.
Scope of Work:
- Electrical Service:
- Provide and install a new 120/208 400 amp service to meet the power requirements of the gymnasium addition.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations during the installation process.
- Fire Alarm System:
- Provide and install a new fire alarm system that meets all applicable safety standards and regulations.
- Include smoke detectors, fire alarm control panels, notification devices, and other necessary components for comprehensive fire protection.
- Security Access Control System:
- Provide and install a new security access control system to ensure the safety and security of the gymnasium facility.
- Include access control panels, card readers, electronic locks, and any necessary integration with existing security infrastructure.
- Data Cabling:
- Provide and install patch cords for each data cable, including two cords for each cable: one for equipment outlet (excluding wireless access points, CCTV cameras, and projector locations) and one for the patch panel end.
- Furnish and install cable loops at intervals of 5 feet or less to maintain neatness and organization.
- Supply and install horizontal cabling within the gymnasium addition to support data connectivity throughout the facility.
- Intercom System Sound Cabling:
- Supply and install intercom system sound cabling specifically designed for HP Electronics.
- Ensure proper integration and functionality between the intercom system and other audio equipment within the gymnasium.
